No, I'm not hindu.
My Thoughts:

What is the difference between an idea and something empirical? Concepts versus reality? Language is the link: it is a system of symbols for interpreting our world. Language is key, and the only objective form of language is mathematics. Math is the rulebook of the universe.

If we follow this argument, then one can see that logic is infallible. Logic is a way of thinking and problem solving which is derivative of math. Logic always works. If it does not work, then it is illogical, or flawed logic. Why then, do so many people ignore reason? Instead, they favor superstition and ignorance. Superstition is the result of blind faith in what one is told over the course of one's formative years. The only sort of faith one should have is faith in the fact that more is unknown to you than is known to you (Socrates). Otherwise, blind faith causes one to never investigate anything and to become ignorant of countless truths. This sort of ignorance is behind much of the historic and recent violence of the world. Violence is pain and pain is bad. Think for yourself and question what you are told if you want the world to be better.

Skepticism does not equal pessimism. Rather, it is a filter for bullshit. Once all the bullshit is filtered out, one can experience good things and then all that is left is optimism. Truth is good, it is the opposite of bullshit. You should be amazed at everything that is true in the world. What is the most easily observable truth one can experience? Nature. Therefore nature is very good. It is a manifestation of the rulebook of math. Study some Pythagoras to see math in nature, or make it easy on yourself and watch "Donald Duck in Mathematics Land". You'll see what I mean.

Thoughts of Others:

"Every individual is at once the beneficiary and the victim of the linguistic tradition into which he has been born - the beneficiary inasmuch as language gives access to the accumulated records of other people's experience, the victim in so far as it confirms him in the belief that reduced awareness is the only awareness and as it bedevils his sense of reality, so that he is all too apt to take his concepts for data, his words for actual things."

"Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery finds no home in this trivial world of ours."

Western Haikus:

Float oblivious,
in oceans of ignorance:
believe what you are told.

Wonder where the girls have gone?
You are now at Georgia Tech.
Get used to it fast.

Before you learn more,
be content with all your days.
You must know yourself.

What is the answer to all?
The answer is simply: IS.
Nothing cannot be.

Eastern Haikus:

Warm breezes quicken pace.
The night air is relaxing.
Atlanta skyline.

Lay down and look up.
You lie on a wall,
facing infinite space-time.

Three colors appear.
Surrounded by quilted shades,
they flow, ebb, and breathe.
